FUNDRAISERS & SPIRIT STORES

Fundraisers that
actually raise funds.

Most school fundraisers leave PTOs with thin margins after the apparel vendor takes its cut. We approach it the other way: aggressive per-piece pricing above 72 pieces, no screen charges to eat into your profit, and a workflow built around the realities of parent order forms and collection-week chaos. Whether you're running a back-to-school spirit store, a championship-run shirt sale, or a one-time fundraiser for a band trip, the math has to work for the booster line item: not just the printer.

FUNDRAISER FORMATS

Every fundraiser format we've helped run.

Back-to-school spirit stores

Open the parent order form in August, collect through Labor Day, run production for first-week-of-school distribution. We've done six schools at once during peak season.

Championship-run apparel

Team makes the playoffs Friday, you need shirts for the game next Friday. Rush production exists for this. Pre-collect, lock the design, ship in a week.

Field trip & band trip funding

Custom shirts sold at break-even-plus to fund the program's travel costs. Predictable design, predictable order pattern, repeated once a year.

Charity drive & awareness

Shirts for a charity walk, pink-out for breast cancer awareness, blue-out for autism awareness, color-coded class days. Profits often donated; pricing built around that.

WHAT WE SOLVE

The fundraiser problems no spreadsheet fixes.

01

Margin erosion from setup fees + screen charges

Other vendors charge $20-50 per ink color per location for screens. On a 4-color, 2-location design that's $160-400 off your margin before you sell shirt one. We charge $0 setup. The savings stay in your fundraiser pot.

02

Order forms that go out before pricing is locked

Your parent form needs a per-piece sale price before you can collect orders. We give you a per-piece quote upfront, locked for that production run, so your form math is right and you don't owe more than you collected.

03

Size mix that's never what you predicted

You ordered 50 mediums, parents wanted 50 larges. Our 24+ minimum on screen printing means a small follow-up batch isn't a margin killer if you need to fill a size you missed.

FAQS

Fundraiser questions PTOs ask first.

What margin should we target on a fundraiser shirt?

50% gross margin is healthy for a fundraiser. At 144 pieces with a basic 1-color, 1-location design on a Gildan 5000, you're looking at roughly $4-5/piece your cost; sell at $15-20 and you've got a strong run.

Can you bill a PTO with a check, or does it need to be a credit card?

Either. We invoice however your group needs (PTO check, school PO, individual credit card from a parent volunteer). Tell us your billing setup when you submit.

Can we add a small order if we're short a few sizes?

Yes, but smaller follow-up runs are priced per the smaller-quantity tier (less per-piece economics). Better to slightly over-order on size mix than under-order.

Do you sort by classroom or grade?

Yes, for elementary fundraisers we can pre-bag by classroom for distribution day. Small per-bag fee, big time saver for the PTO volunteer doing distribution.
